Jan Gerber founded Paracelsus Recovery, holding the position of company CEO and responsible for the overall management of the organisation. He has an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, but has gained vast know-how in the medical services industry through his involvement as a consultant and senior manager in several medical service providers and the build-up and management of other addictions clinics.

Dr. Beck serves as the chief consultant psychiatrist at Paracelsus Recovery. He initially studied law before deciding to switch to medicine. Since graduating in 1992, he has worked in different academic psychiatric clinics in Switzerland in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Alongside ongoing continuing education in systemic Psychotherapy, he also specialised in addiction medicine.

He is a Swiss licensed Psychiatrist, a member of the board of SSAM (Swiss Society of Addiction Medicine) and a member of the Swiss Association for ADHD. Dr. Beck has been the investigator in a wide range of studies, and he is the author or co-author of numerous publications. He is also acting as an advisor to policy makers and governments.

Dr. Anna Erat MD/PhD studied and conducted research at Harvard Medical School for many years before taking up her role as a medical director in the Hirslanden Klinik and as a consultant at Paracelsus Recovery. She is specialised in internal medicine, sports medicine, longevity and prevention.

Apart from taking care of top athletes ranging from formula 1 to polo and world class ice hockey players as a sports physician, she teaches medical and executive MBA students in Europe following her PhD in health systems management, training at Harvard Business School, and International Director’s Programme at INSEAD.

Arthur was born and raised in Vienna, where he also completed his education. The city’s rich history as well as its significance in the field of psychology have deeply influenced him from an early age. His interest in the human psyche developed early on, and his decision to study medicine was driven by his aspiration to become a psychiatrist.

After two years of training at the University Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Vienna, he moved to Zurich in 2009 to continue his education at the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich. From September 2013 to December 2017, he worked at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service in Zurich.

During his professional career, he furthered his education in sexual and couples therapy at the University of Basel from 2011 to 2013.

In 2015, he earned his FMH titles as a Specialist in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, as well as in General Practice. From October 2017 to September 2019, he completed training as a systemic coach/supervisor, and he now offers these services as part of his professional expertise.

Husam’s fascination with psychoanalysis and the concept of the unconscious was what led him to study medicine and become a psychiatrist at an early age. This fascination, which continues to this day, allows him to be curious and open to the life stories that are brought to him in his practice and to experience psychoanalysis itself again and again.

Dr. Jonas Montagna is an experienced psychiatrist and psychotherapist with a long career that has established him as a recognised expert in addiction medicine and mental health. He has extensive expertise in treating individuals with substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and complex psychological conditions.

Dr. Montagna has a solid academic background, holding a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and further specialisations in medical psychotherapy and healthcare management, particularly in the areas of psychiatry, psychotherapy, and clinical psychology.

In addition, he has completed numerous specialised training programmes, including a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Health Care Management and extensive training in modern therapeutic methods such as Augmented Psychotherapy and Motivational Interviewing at renowned institutions such as the Mind Foundation and the IRRT-Institute Switzerland.

Dr. Montagna is an active researcher and frequently speaks at conferences, where he shares his expertise on innovative therapeutic approaches and the use of artificial intelligence in therapy. His work contributes to advancing the application of modern, evidence-based therapeutic methods.

As a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy, Dr. Montagna adopts a holistic, integrative approach to guide individuals on their path to a healthy and stable life.

Konrad works from an integrated perspective, exploring all angles with his clients. His experience spans issues such as abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, anger management, and eating disorders. The passion for his work comes from Konrad’s own family history of addictions and negative cycles, so he can empathise deeply with his clients. Konrad works with adults and children alike to resolve a range of issues in the home, including domestic violence.
