Privacy & Cookies Policy
Last updated: 6 July 2026
This policy explains how Paracelsus Recovery ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit this website, and how we use cookies and similar tracking technologies. Please read it before submitting any personal information.
1. Who we are
The data controller responsible for your personal data is:
Paracelsus Recovery
Utoquai 43, 8008 Zurich, Switzerland
Phone: +41 44 505 17 68
This policy applies to this website. Where we act as the data controller, we process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What personal data we collect
- Information you give us. When you complete our enquiry form or contact us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.
- Technical and usage data. When you use the site we may automatically collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring pages, and how you interact with the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6) and, where required, only with your consent.
We do not knowingly collect special-category (sensitive) data through this website. Please do not submit health or other sensitive details through the enquiry form; our team will arrange a secure, confidential channel for any clinical discussion.
3. How we use your data and our legal bases
- To respond to your enquiry and provide information about our services — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
- To operate, secure and maintain the website — on the basis of our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure site.
- Analytics and marketing (measuring website performance, advertising and measuring campaign effectiveness) — only on the basis of your consent, which you give through our cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.
4. How we share your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf, including our form and CRM provider (HubSpot) and our website/hosting providers.
- Advertising and analytics partners — Google, Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram), Adform and Growth Channel — but only where you have given consent to the relevant cookies (see section 6). Depending on their configuration, some of these partners may act as independent controllers or joint controllers for the data collected through their technologies.
5. International data transfers
Some of our providers (for example Google, Meta, HubSpot and Adform) are based outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US and Swiss–US Data Privacy Frameworks.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device; we also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags and browser local storage. We group them into three categories:
- Essential — required for the site and your privacy choices to work. Always on.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site. Set only with your consent.
- Marketing — used to deliver and measure advertising across platforms such as Google, Meta and Adform. Set only with your consent.

Cookies set by third parties are controlled by those providers, and the exact names, technologies and lifespans they use may change over time. The categories and purposes above describe how each technology is used on this site.
7. Managing your consent
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all cookies, Reject non-essential cookies, or Manage your choices by category. We use Google Consent Mode v2, which means analytics and advertising tags are set to a denied state by default and only activate once you consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
8. Google services
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager. These tools respect the consent signals described above. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, manage ad personalisation in your Google Ad Settings, and read more in the Google Privacy Policy.
9. Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
We use the Meta Pixel to measure and optimise advertising on Meta platforms. This may involve Meta processing data as described in the Meta Business Tools terms. You can control ad personalisation in your Meta ad preferences and read more in the Meta Privacy Policy.
10. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and for our legitimate business and legal record-keeping purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Cookie lifespans are set out in the tables above.
11. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Access is limited to Paracelsus Recovery staff and trusted subcontractors who need it to perform their role.
12. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in section 14. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or your local data protection authority in the EEA.
13. Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children through this site.
14. Contact us
